Joining University of Maryland Global Campus as Adjunct Assistant Professor!

I’m excited to share some big news with you all: I’ve officially joined the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) as an Adjunct Assistant Professor! This new chapter involves teaching Writing, English, Speech, and Communication courses to undergraduate students. It’s a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into my love for languages, academia, and teaching at HEIs.

UMGC isn’t your typical institution. It’s been around since 1947, focusing on providing quality education that’s accessible to everyone. They’re big on online learning, making education work for people with busy lives, like working adults and military members. With students from all over the globe, UMGC is really about bringing education to where you are, making it a perfect fit for today’s world.

Why UMGC Feels Right

Joining UMGC felt right for a bunch of reasons. Their dedication to making education both accessible and top-notch really resonated with me. Plus, the chance to contribute to a community that values diversity and innovation in learning? Count me in. I’m all about fostering a space where students can grow their communication skills, something I believe is crucial no matter where your career takes you.

What I’m Looking Forward To

I’m buzzing with excitement about the conversations and learning moments ahead. It’s not just about teaching for me; it’s about creating a space where we can all learn from each other. I want to make my classes a place where creativity meets critical thinking, and everyone feels empowered to explore the power of effective communication.

I’m super grateful for this opportunity to join the UMGC family and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. Here’s to new beginnings and the many adventures in learning we’ll have together!
